100th Anniversary of the Republic Day of Azerbaijan

On the 24^th of May, 2018, EMU celebrated the Azerbaijani's night at Beach Club at 7:30. As it was Ramadan, the party started with calling for Azan and people started having their breakfast. Then, the activities started with the national anthem of Azerbaijan and Turkey, followed by a word from the president of the Azerbaijan society. Then, the ambassador of Azerbaijan and Turkey gave their speech stressing the strong relationship between the two countries. Later, the activities started with a traditional dance. Later, a singer from Azerbaijan started singing the Azerbaijani's songs. At the end of the night, Dr. Cem Tanova, the Vice Rector of EMU, cut the cake prepared for this night. At the end, the party ended at 10:30.
