On Friday 23rd February 2018 International Office of Eastern Mediterranean University hosted a welcome party to greet both new and old students to the campus which over 500 students and their families attended.
Event started with Vice Rector of International Affairs and Promotion, Prof. Dr. Cem Tanova congratulating the new students on choosing EMU to continue their education. He stated that EMU has become a highly reputable university and has continued to rank high among other top universities in the world. He encouraged the students to be dedicated, committed, and uphold the image of the university where ever they are. While encouraging the students to study hard and integrate with other students, Prof. Dr. Tanova stated that EMU has over 106 international students on his campus.
The night continued with Different stage performances, Disco and Cocktail Party. The event hosted DJ Milad and TRNC’s local music band “Öldüren Şampanya’s” unique performances. Student of EMU Christiana Mazvita Chilowa also entertained the participants with a song of hers. During the organisation, Kangoo Jumps Club Cyprus also demonstrated colorful dance performances.
