In his welcome address, the president, Egyptian Students' Society, Oheb Hassan expressed delight for the success in organising the event.

He said being the first time Egyptian Students in EMU will be converging to showcase their beautiful culture and way of life, it is also an opportunity to encourage them to be good representatives of their country. Hassan appreciated the management of EMU and most especially the International Office for the unflinching support they were accorded to organise the event.

The first Egyptian Night was well organised and attended by Egyptian Students in EMU as well as friends and families. The event featured dance, drama, art work, rap presentation, and a host of others. The students were seen in an exciting mood as they danced and sang along during the various activities.
