EMU Hosts Exchange Students

The management of the Eastern Mediterranean University has been praised for the provision of a conducive and academically fit environment.  This acknowledgement was given by exchange students of the Eastern Mediterranean University who have just concluded their mid-term exams. The event which was organized by the International Office was held at the EMU Beach club on November 30th, 2016. 

In his welcome, the Vice Rector, International Relations & Recruitment, Prof. Dr. Cem Tanova appreciated students for choosing to study at the university stating the EMU has continued to maintain international standards over the years. He said the recent ranking of EMU on the global rankings of the world universities is a testimony that EMU is a place to study.

The event featured presentation of gifts and also had the meet and greet segment where everyone introduced themselves. The Eastern Mediterranean University in its drive to continues to live up to its international standards and has collaborations with a number of universities across the globe where it engages in series of exchange programs. Students from these universities visit EMU on semester basis to study while students from EMU also visit other collaborating Universities. Some of the Universities are located in China, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Korea, Italy, Ukraine and etc.

The event also gave some of the outgoing exchange program students the opportunity to play the piano as well as photo sessions and lots of other side attractions. In attendance were EMU coordinators, staff and assistants of the International Office.
