Libyan Night Celebration in EMU

The Libyan night tagged night of celebration is an annual event organized by Libyan students in EMU and this year’s occasion was held on the 25th March, 2017 at Rauf Raif Congress and Cultural Center. The event which featured speeches, Cultural performances and Video Presentation kicked off with exhibition of different Libyan historical places and various cities in Libya. 

The President of the Society in his opening speech expressed gratitude to everyone present for yielding to their call and also extended appreciation to EMU International Office for its support, promising that the Libyan students under his leadership would continue to abide by the University rules and regulations and uphold its values.

However, the Coordinator of International Office, Mr. Ozan Inamlik in his remark enjoined the students to always portray the image of the Institution in good delight. 

This was followed by short videos of major interesting sites in Libya including its beautiful land scape and a documentary video of Omar Mukhtar, a Libyan national hero. The night also witnessed short drama, Cultural performances in different dimensions and traditional Libyan music which was received by the crowd with a lot of excitement.

The event was well attended by Libyan students and members of the EMU community.
