Sudanese Society Night Holds In Grand Style

Over two hundred students were present at this year's Sudanese Society Night to celebrate and get together in a relaxing enviroment. The event which was held at the Cultural center featured lots of dance and music which were aimed at celebrating and showcasing the Sudanese culture. In her speech, the president of the Sudanese Society at the Eastern Mediterranean University, Miss. Hafnan Elhag appreciated the management of EMU for creating an enabling environment for the students. She encouraged the students to be law abiding and comport themselves. She also admonished the students to be focused in their studies and be each other's keeper.

The event also featured the showcasing of a short promotional video, Arabic poetry, Northern Dance Performance, video about Sudan, Western dance performance, talent show, singing performance as well as live and wedding show. The event climaxed on a peaceful note as it was quite obvious that all attendees enjoyed themselves.
