EMU Appreciates Participants At 2017 International Night

It was a night of celebration and honour on Thursday 25th May, 2016 as the Eastern Mediterranean University International Office celebrated team members and participants at the 2017 International Night for their contributions and support for the successful event.

In his welcome address, the Vice Rector International Affairs and Promotion Prof. Dr. Cem Tanova appreciated members of the team for their commitment and dedication towards the successful hosting of the 2017 International Night. Prof. Dr. Tanova said EMU is always proud to have the series of nationalities on its campus while stating that this promotes global brotherhood and diversity. He said EMU has over 107 nationalities on its campus and encouraged all students to continue to promote the good name the university has built over the years. He also appreciated all sponsors and partners of the international Night.

The event featured presentation of certificates to members of the various societies that participated at the night as well as a raffle draw which led to the presentation of over 100 gifts and packages by the sponsors. Among the gifts won at the night were flight tickets worth 250 Turkish Lira each by Koop Bank, free lunch at roof restaurant, one month free membership at Lala Mustafa Gym, Pair of Shoes by Halil Hamza, mobile phones, Turkcell free internet bundles among others.

The event was well attended by society representatives, International Affairs and Promotion Coordinator Associate Professor Dr. Selcan Timur, International Affairs and Promotion Coordinator Ozan Inamlik as well as  Student Affairs Administrative Coordinator Ahmed among other staff of the international office.
