İt was a night of fun and excitement on Friday 9th March 2018, as the Moroccan Students Society of the Eastern Mediterranean University celebrated its annual Moroccan Night. The event which was put together by the International Office, under the office of the Vice Rector, International Affairs And Promotion was well attended by a high number of Moroccan Students as well as other İnternational Students at the Eastern Mediterranean University.
İn his welcome address, the president of the Moroccan Students Society Mehdi Fanan appreciated all Moroccan Students in EMU for their dedication and commitment towards making the society a better one. He stated that night marks a beautiful experience that will further shed light on the uniqueness of the culture and tradition of the people of Morocco.
The event commenced with a cocktail party after which guests were treated to beautiful and soul serenading performances by Moroccan students, guest artists as well as other friends of the association. There were also presentation of awards to Moroccan Students who have distinguished themselves as well as those who have contributed to the development of the society. The cultural night featured different on-stage performances including music performances and fashion show walk which was put together by Nabiha Ghiati, a fashion designer of traditional Moroccan dresses.
